About AETranslations

Melinda Hollingsworth (founder of AETranslations) has over 18 years’ experience as a full-time professional translator, including 11 years as a staff translator with the European Commission translation service in Brussels, Belgium and over 4 years working on a freelance basis. Melinda holds a first degree in translating and interpreting, and worked and studied throughout Europe (in Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden and the UK) before relocating to Australia in 2008 and establishing AETranslations.

Melinda has been accredited by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) at the highest level of NAATI accreditation - Advanced Translator (Senior) level (French→English, German→English and Swedish→English), and is a Member of AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators).
